Academic Calendar

The Academic Calendar for DMU is listed in this document [calendar]. For the MA in Photographic History and Practice the Calendar roughly follows the same schedule, meeting on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Tutorials will generally only take place on Tuesdays or Thursdays. One week in the Autumn semester and one week in the Spring semester will be devoted to a Museum visit at the National Media Museum in Bradford. The MA Photographic History and Practice roughly follows this schedule but we have a few variations. Please stick to the calendar below.

Autumn 2012

Monday September 24th- Enrollment

Tuesday September 25th - Teaching begins

Tuesday December 18th - Teaching ends - submit assignments December

Bradford visit: October 30th - November 2nd

Spring 2013

Tuesday January 8th - Teaching begins

Summer 2013

Monday May TBA - Reading and writing period for dissertation begins officially

September 1st 2013 - Submit Dissertations
