Feedback

The feedback is due by the Monday after the session is offered.

This material should be provided as a short response to the following three questions:

1. In one sentence for each, please note two or three main ideas from this session.

    A. Scanning history and how to appropriately scan different photographic objects.

    B. Debates around copyright, how to use it and how to obtain it.

    C. How to transfer these cataloging and scanning skills to our own project.

2. What concept(s) need more reinforcement?

    A. The future of copyright, is copyright likely to change in Britain now that we are in a digital age?

    B. Second question?

    C. Third question (optional)?

3. What two or three aspects of this session did the group like/dislike and why?

    A. Practising the scanning of different photographic materials, practical considerations of converting from analogue to digital.

    B. Enjoyed informal discussion and sharing opinions and ideas, a good way of learning. Working together as a group to make decisions about the project.

    C. Scanning postcards took longer than expected and would have been useful to spend time before lunch to discuss file names etc so work could have begun straight away after lunch. Time is precious for part time students and those commuting.
