Biography
I have been intrigued with the concept of photography from an early age, both practical and theoretical. Incorporating photography into my studies at every level as well as working independently I began with experiments in pinhole and cyanotype printing whilst researching early practitioners . While studying BA History of Modern and Contemporary Art at the University of Essex I decided to write my final year dissertation on William Henry Fox Talbot, looking at the ideas of his photography as art. After graduating from the University of Essex I decided I wanted to continue my studies into photographic history and practice at DeMontfort University, exploring the concept of photography and developing new skills in this field of study.
