Although the next session is about database design, this module is building up to the effective presentation of information, such that users can make sense of it and construct their own knowledge from it. In anticipation of this its time to start thinking about what works and why.

Prepare a seminar presentation about a photo history Web site that you particularly like, explaining what you think its strengths are, any weaknesses it has and what design opportunities you think the designers missed. Try to be as objective as possible and try to organise your comments under general headings such as "appearance", "easy to understand", "quick to get to the stuff you want", etc. You dont have to use these headings, make up your own.
